What Volunteer Nearby is
Volunteer Nearby is a free, community-curated directory that links people to volunteer opportunities run by third-party organizations. We do not host events, recruit volunteers on behalf of organizations, or manage anyone's signup process.
What we don't promise
- Listings may be inaccurate, out of date, or no longer accepting volunteers.
- Schedules, age requirements, contact info, and signup links shown on this site are best-effort summaries and may have changed.
- We are not responsible for anything that happens at a listed event. Your participation in any volunteer opportunity is between you and the host organization.
Always confirm dates, eligibility, and details directly with the host organization before showing up.
No affiliation, no endorsement
Volunteer Nearby is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any organization listed on this site. Mentioning an organization is not an endorsement of that organization or its programs. We list organizations because their volunteer opportunities are publicly posted on their own websites.
Removal of listings
Organizations or members of the public can request removal or correction of any listing by emailing remove@volunteernearby.org. We will act on legitimate requests in good faith and typically within a few days.
Intellectual property
Organization names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are referenced here for the convenience of volunteers under nominative fair use. The original text and design of this site is provided for personal, non-commercial reference; please don't republish listings in bulk without permission.
No warranty / no liability
This site is provided "as-is" and "as-available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Volunteer Nearby and its contributors are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from use of this site or attendance at any listed opportunity.
